Inside the den Josh unzipped his
rucksack and pulled out an item of
clothing.
“Hey! Isn’t that my jacket?” Gary
said.
“Yep!” Josh replied. “Well, since
you were so worried about the police
finding it and tracing it back to
us…you…this seems like the best
place they won’t look.”
“Yeah, I suppose you’re right,”
Gary agreed. “At least it’s too hot right
now to wear it anyway. Josie isn’t
going to wonder what I’ve done with it
right now.”
