Hilary Hawkes is a children’s author, writing fiction for young readers up to age twelve. She also writes adult non-fiction books.
In addition she has created Little Chestnuts Preschool – online stories, rhymes and games that encourage young children’s listening, thinking, communication and language skills. And the Strawberry Jam Books project – books, fun activities and resources for (mainly) 8 to 12 year olds that promote fairness and understanding for children who live with disabilities, difficulties or difference.
